Trail Maintenance & Volunteer Opportunities
Trails require ongoing maintenance, it is as simple as that. Please take at least one day a summer to give something back to the trails we love. Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers (RFOV) organizes many trail maintenance opportunities every year. We support RFOV and encourage you to sign up for trail work projects in advance. Check out their full schedule here. Check out our Events page for specific trail projects.
Trail Conditions
Visit our Trail Condition sub page to read about closures and recent conditions at riding areas throughout the Roaring Fork valley. If you have recent trail condition reports to share, please send them to info@rfmba.org or post to our Facebook Page. You can also visit a specific trail on mtbproject.com to view or post your own trail condition reports.
MTBproject.com
This website is the next generation of mountain bike trail maps. Give it a try with your gps enabled smartphone’s web browser. It’s a great way to explore an area, whether you’ve lived here all of your life, or if you’ve only got a day or two to check it all out. While many of our classic trails and rides are in the system, we’re still adding to the system. Help us by either posting your favorite ride at mtbproject.com, or contact us with your gps data and trail photos and we’ll add to the system for you! Please keep in mind that we can only post trails currently open to mountain biking!
