Wherever there are trails for people to recreate on there have always been “trail fairies” – those anonymous trail users who keep trails unobstructed and riding well. While their work is most often appreciated by us, land managers ultimately don’t know if the work these folks are doing is appropriate and if they are being safe with the tools they are using. To solve this problem, RFMBA started the Trail Agent Program back in 2018 – our way of assuring land managers that volunteer work happening on their land is being done safely and effectively.
The independent volunteer efforts of Trail Agents go hand-in-hand with the efforts of our full-time professional trail crew to keep our trails in pristine condition! Our brief trainings will authorize you to keep your favorite trail(s) free of fallen trees, clear of overgrowth, and draining well. Learn more about the Trail Agent Program at this link.
Join as at one of our upcoming training sessions in either Carbondale or Glenwood Springs!
