Last week a group of super volunteers dug up and hauled out an enormous amount of thistle from the Imperial Garden meadows. A HUGE thanks goes out to Keith Teahen and his merry thistle baggers for the incredible job they did in packing out the pesky thistle!

Ute Land Acknowledgement
Many of the trails in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond exist within the ancestral territory of the Uncompahgre Tribe of the Ute Nation or Nuche. We honor the inherent stewardship that native people have for the land, waters, and air in which all trail users continue to have the privilege to revel in. We strive to learn from the Ute tradition of living in harmony with the environment, and take action to sustain it for generations to come.
