We’re thrilled to welcome a new member of the cycling community to the Roaring Fork Valley. Roaring Fork Cycling is a non-profit that provides skills-based cycling programs, clinics, and camps for children K-12. Their goal is to foster an inclusive program that gets every kid on a bike and encourages teamwork, trail stewardship, and a healthy cycling lifestyle. Local head coaches Jon Delk and Garrett Alexander bring decades of experience in coaching and racing along with a lifelong passion for the sport.
Roaring Fork Cycling has programs for every age and skill level, including girl-specific mountain bike camps. In addition, they have a great calendar of events planned, with a bike swap May 6th that will include bikes, clothing, and gear for kids and adults. They will be partnering with RFMBA for this year’s Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day at Buttermilk on June 10th, 2017.
