Imagine what else we’ll accomplish with your support!

December 29, 2022

It’s true! We’ve had another exceptional year for trails and mountain biking in the Roaring Fork Valley! This wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of our volunteers, members, individual donors, business partners, and granting foundations.  As we look towards 2023, we encourage your continued support to grow our efforts to create and sustain the best possible mountain bike trail system and experiences in our region.

Since forming as a non-profit in 2008, our volunteer efforts have been bolstered by support staff to greatly increase our impact and make significant progress on our mission’s work.  With your annual support, we’ll accomplish even more!

During 2022, our advocacy, design, and coordination efforts + our highly valued public land manager partnerships resulted in many trail projects. Projects now underway, to be completed next year, include the Burning Mountain Trails in New Castle,  the Crown Royale Trail and FoG Crossovers on the Crown, and the Alpine Slide Trail at South Canyon.   On Sky Mt. Park, the climb-only Incline Trail now turns the famed Airline Trail into a downhill only for bikes!  As always, behind the scenes we’re planning future trails throughout our region.

Our Seasonal Trail Crew program tackled nearly 5,000 hours of maintenance on high use and remote trails. Our Volunteers contributed over 600 hours during organized sessions this season, including our Trail Agent program (trained independent volunteers) tackled valued work on the trails, often while out on a ride!. Looking towards next year, we will see more trail improvements throughout our region.

Imagine what else we’ll accomplish with your support!  As we close out this year, we welcome your new membership, or your easy and last minute Venmo or PayPal donation!
