Wulfsohn Trail Work Evening 8/21/14 – Glenwood Springs

August 21, 2014 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Greetings Wulfsohn lovers! We have two more workdays this summer to complete the Vanderhoofin’ It Trail, the new traverse of this magnificent, still-wild public park, as unique as you’ll ever find in a close-to-home setting. Get away from it all without being away from it all!
The workdays are Thursday, Aug. 7 and Thursday, Aug. 21.

Meet at 5 pm each day at the parking lot at the city’s Municipal Operations Center, on the west end of the park.  If you are a bit late, no worries. Follow the signs to the work site by walking up the crusher fines road. Even one hour to donate makes a big difference.
All of the brush is cut, so it’s all about making tread. Work gloves and water are good ideas. No work gloves? We have some.

We hope you saw the story in the Sunday Post Independent about Two Rivers Trails and our vision to improve the soft-surface trail system locally. RFMBA & TRT are working together to build support and gain funding for a high level concept trails plan that will set our trail system priorities for the Glenwood Springs Area over the coming years.  If you or your business are interested in sponsoring this effort, please email mike at rfmba.org for more information!
