Mountain View Trail Project – July 23rd

July 23, 2016 @ 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

NOTE:  This project was originally set to be a maintenance day on the Tom Blake Trail; project leaders decided that the trail is actually in great shape right now, so…

A much bigger priority for the Town of Snowmass Village will be tackled instead! Volunteers will work to improve and reroute portions of the Mountain View Trail which runs behind the Village Center and Town Hall, ending with the connection to the Rim Trail. This project is phase one of a two phased project to improve the sustainability and character of this trail.  Their hard work will be rewarded at the end of the day with food and beverages (adult and regular).

Pre-register for this project at RFOV’s website link below.  Stay tuned as we’ll announce where to park and meet up to start the day.

This project is sponsored by the National Forest Foundation. Partners on this project include: Town of Snowmass Village and Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association.

Remember, all of your volunteer trail efforts earn you another chance to win a brand new Yeti ASR Enduro mountain bike!  This prize is valued at $3,700 and brought to you thanks to our friends at Ute City Cycles!
