Rassle the Castle Fat Bike and Snowshoe Races

The race is anticipated to happen on schedule.  Currently the trail is muddy and icy; so wear appropriate footwear.  Also please be forgiving of course conditions as this is a race for fun and fundraising.  If the trail is considered to icy to be safe we will cancel the race by noon on Friday.  We will call anyone preregistered and post it on the main page of our website.  Anyone who is preregistered will get a full refund.

Join Aloha Mountain Cyclery and Carbondale Recreation in Redstone for some fun and friendly races!  Proceeds help benefit more activity-based events for the Roaring Fork Community, the Redstone Community Association, and the Calaway Young Cancer Center.  Registration will be available inside the Redstone Inn 30 minutes prior to each race.  Both races will start and finish in the Redstone Inn’s lower parking lot.  Must sign race waivers.  Cash or checks only day of; pre-registration available until Wednesday, January 10 in person at the Carbondale Recreation and Community Center or see the link below.

Fat Bike Race: 9am

$30 Race Fee; $25 with non-perishable food donation for Lift Up
Demo Bikes provide by Aloha Mountain Cyclery

Snowshoe Race: 10am (now considered a winter footwear fun walk)

$30 Race Fee; $25 with non-perishable food donation for Lift Up
Pre-registration available online and in person at the CRCC

Yak Tracks highly encouraged (snowshoes are no longer required)

Sign up for BOTH races and pay only $40!

Raffle for both races will take place at noon.  Free hot chocolate at the starting line until it runs out!  (Provided by the Inn)
