Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association (RFMBA)
Dedicated to creating and sustaining the best possible mountain bike trail system in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Mark your calendars to join us for a Group Ride on the network of trails at Prince Creek. RFMBA will be holding a group ride to introduce both local and visiting riders to these trails, many of which are slated to become part of the BLM’s inventoried travel route system with the upcoming signing of it’s long awaited Resource Management Plan. Some of the lowest elevation trails are currently on private property, which will become public property if and when the Sutey – Two Shoes Land Exchange is approved. Along the ride, we’ll discuss the recent past and planned future of area trail system improvements.
Meet at the Trailhead at 9:30am, gear up, meet new friends, sign a waiver, and then start riding at 10:00am. Ride up to the trailhead from Carbondale, or Park on Prince Creek Rd. where the road transitions from pavement to dirt. We’ll ride Monte Carlo, Highline, South Porcupine, Father of Ginormous, and other area trails, with rides ranging from 1 to 2 hours or more. Informal lunch gathering at Carbondale Beer Works is likely after the ride.
No fee required for participation.
