Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association (RFMBA)
Dedicated to creating and sustaining the best possible mountain bike trail system in the Roaring Fork Valley.
**New Update**
Postponing… again… Note from Tim Walker, event organizer: This has not been the SNOW year to plan a Fat Bike event in the lower Roaring Fork Valley. With that said, and after talking with the folks at Ironbridge and RFMBA, we are postponing the event without a future date. If we get a cold and snowy spring, we might just be able to quickly organize and pull off the rally and race. If not, we will use the effort put into this event to do a spring-time fundraiser for RFMBA.
FYI – the March 31 date is just to keep the Facebook event alive. Stay tuned!

**Update**
Postponing until February 21 – We need snow!! Tim rode the course on Sunday 1/18. It was marginal at that time. With no snow in the forecast and warm temps, the course will only get worse. Let’s hope mother nature delivers in February. Stay tuned!
**Update**
This inaugural event is shaping up to be a great one! Originally called the Fat Bike Alleycat Race… it’s been renamed to Rally support for RFMBA! Huge thanks to Ironbridge Golf Club & Mountain Community & Tim Walker for creating a reason to race hard and have fun with fat bikes! Visit the Facebook Page, where you can note your intent to join in the fun… and invite your Friends to come out too!

The course – http://www.strava.com/
There will be minor adjustments to the loop at the top, there are two-way traffic zones but plenty of width to accommodate. Just FYI, the route intersects with County Road 109, but that is an underpass.
Other Event Activities:
*Vendors and demo bikes will be available.
*A raffle for bike gear and other items will benefit RFMBA
*The Ironbridge Grill will be available for event attendees, they have great food and drinks.
Stay tuned and please spread the word, this is grass roots to support RFMBA and have fun. Hope to see you on your fat bike!!
