SUMMARY:Trail Agent Program - 2025 Training Session 2
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our second 2025 in-person Trail Agent training at Aloha Mountain Cyclery in Carbondale! \nRFMBA’s mission is to create and sustain the best possible mountain bike trail system and experience in the Roaring Fork Valley. The independent volunteer efforts of Trail Agents go hand-in-hand with the efforts of our full-time professional Trail Crew to keep our trails riding great! This training will teach you how to report trail conditions for future work needed on your favorite trails and authorize you to keep them free of fallen trees\, clear of overgrowth\, and draining well. This will not only benefit your own enjoyment on the trail but also our entire community of trail users! \nIf you’ve already been trained as a Trail Agent in the past\, but it’s been a while since you took your tools out\, you are more than welcome to join as a refresher! \nBefore attending\, please review the Trail Agent Program further on our website – https://rfmba.org/welcome-to-rfmba/trail-agent-program/. Most importantly\, there are 2 documents we ask that you review prior to attending this training. The first is the “OSI Guide to Independent Stewardship for Trails.” The second is the “RFMBA Trail Agent Program Manual.” Both of these documents can be found at the link above. Total estimated time spent reviewing this material: 2 hours. \nA big thank you to Nick and the fine folks at Aloha Mountain Cyclery for allowing us to host a training session (year after year!) in their bike shop. RFMBA will provide New York Pizza and beer\, as well as non-alcoholic beverages\, for all attendees! \nPlease note that if this day & time doesn’t work with your schedule\, we’re happy to arrange a one-on-one training to get you up and running!  Just shoot us an email to get the conversation started. \nTo join in this free training session\, please register using this link: \nhttps://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094AA8AC22A5FFC70-55064906-trail#/
