Celebrate Colorado Public Lands Day on May 20th by building new singletrack!
Help complete a reroute of the uppermost portion of the Blue Ribbon trail on Red Hill (aka Mushroom Rock). The trail will meander through the pinyon, juniper, and sage. Cutting new trail through this kind of terrain is a great introduction to trail work. The completion of new trail sections always leaves volunteers with the satisfaction of seeing the positive impact they leave behind them.
Red Hill Council has lead the charge on this project, RFMBA assisted with necessary environmental studies to achieve BLM approval, and RFOV is coordinating volunteer efforts and putting the call out get as many boots on the ground as possible!
Remember, all of your volunteer trail efforts earn you another chance to win a brand new Cima RT-5! This prize is valued at $4,000 and brought to you thanks to our friends at Ute City Cycles!
