Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association (RFMBA)
Dedicated to creating and sustaining the best possible mountain bike trail system in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Join the crew from Aloha Mountain Cyclery in Carbondale on the 2nd Sundays in June, July, and August. RFMBA is coordinating with AMC and the BLM to conduct Group Work days with our partner Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers.
Meet at 9:30am at the parking area where Prince Creek Rd. turns to dirt, and look for our partner RFOV’s tent and registration table. Wear clothes and shoes that work well for hiking, and bring water and lunch/snack. We’ll shuttle closer to the project area, and finish the day by 3pm with free pizza and drinks.
We’ll be working to maintain and improve the much loved trails in the Prince Creek area as well as higher up on the Crown’s BLM lands. Project details will be announced, including where and when to meet up in the morning. Email info@rfmba.org to register early for this project!
This will be one of your opportunities to enter our 2015 Bike Giveaway! Brought to you by our friends and sponsors at Ute City Cycles, every time you sign an RFOV volunteer waiver for a trail project, you’ll get an additional chance to win a Yeti 575 Enduro worth $3,500 in your size! One chance for each evening project, and two chances for each full day project. We’re partial to mountain bikes, but if your lucky name is drawn at the end of the season in September, you can choose a similar value road bike. The more you volunteer the more chances to win!
