RFOV Crew Leader Training weekend, a great event for riders who want to take the next step in their trail volunteer efforts by learning to build sustainable trails from scratch, and how to effectively lead other new volunteers to get the job done in style.
Many of the trails in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond exist within the ancestral territory of the Uncompahgre Tribe of the Ute Nation or Nuche. We honor the inherent stewardship that native people have for the land, waters, and air in which all trail users continue to have the privilege to revel in. We strive to learn from the Ute tradition of living in harmony with the environment, and take action to sustain it for generations to come.
