Every Fall, CMC Spring Valley Campus hosts the Colorado High School Mountain Bike State Championships. Come join RFOV as they work with CMC staff and students on Saturday, August 23rd to maintain and improve the sustainability of the exquisite trails that make up this course!
This project will take place at worksites between 0.25 and 1.5 miles away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
Many of the trails in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond exist within the ancestral territory of the Uncompahgre Tribe of the Ute Nation or Nuche. We honor the inherent stewardship that native people have for the land, waters, and air in which all trail users continue to have the privilege to revel in. We strive to learn from the Ute tradition of living in harmony with the environment, and take action to sustain it for generations to come.
