Join us for a full day, 9:00am – 3:30pm, to build a new descending only bike trail, parallel to Buckhorn Trail! We’ll be accessing this project from the Glassier OS Trailhead Parking Area, riding mountain bikes to get to and from the build zone. All tools will be waiting for us on site.
We’re excited to welcome a group of Colorowdies to help out on this project. Join in, and meet some new friends!
Please sign up for this event in advance, we expect to cap volunteers for this day to 50 total.

We’ll provide light snacks when we’re out working on the new trail. Please be sure to pack plenty of water and other snacks or lunch to keep you powered up along the way. Bring gloves to keep your hands protected while swinging tools. The ride to and from the project site is long enough to consider packing a change of shoes for this work day; bike in your riding shoes, and change over to boots or good sneakers when it’s time to dig. Pack a rain jacket if the forecast is iffy. We’ll be proceeding with this project through most weather conditions, but will reschedule or cut out early if severe rain comes along.
