Join us for our last build evening on the new Buck Down trail on the Crown! This is our fourth and final dig party to build the new downhill only trail parallel to the Buckhorn Trail. Started in early June, this trail needs one final push from our local enthusiastic riders to get it ready for opening in September! If we have enough help, you could be one of the first to ride the full trail by the end of the night!
We will be accessing this project from the Glassier OS Trailhead parking area by mountain bike. If you make it to the parking lot by 4:30pm we’ll roll out together at 4:45pm, ride 3.75 miles (~520 feet of vert) to the bottom of the site and walk another 5 minutes to the exact work zone. You can also ride in from anywhere at any time between 4:30pm and 8:00pm and we’ll put you to work! We’ll provide all of the tools onsite. Bring water and a snack or two. We will provide pizza and drinks at the end of the day at the Glassier OS Trailhead parking lot.
