BLM Public Comment Meetings – Thompson Divide Lease Cancellations

December 10, 2015

Next week will be a really big week for our broad-based coalition. The BLM is hosting two public meetings in the Roaring Fork Valley to present their plan for cancelling leases in the Divide, and they’re asking for us to show up.

Please join one or both of these critical public meetings to thank the BLM for their proposal and to urge them to finally cancel illegally-issued leases in the heart of the Thompson Divide. Here’s the info:

  • Glenwood Springs –  Monday Dec. 14 from 5-7pm at the Glenwood Community Center
  • Carbondale –  Wednesday Dec. 16 from 5-7pm at Roaring Fork High School

For the first time ever, BLM is proposing to cancel the majority of leases in the Thompson Divide, but they need to hear from us first! Please join us at one or both of these critical public meetings to finally get rid of these illegal leases.

Let’s stand up for the Thompson Divide — in Glenwood Springs on Monday and in Carbondale on Wednesday. Please show up to demonstrate that our communities are unified for Thompson Divide!

Can’t attend next week?  Please send in your comment letter using the form at this TDC link.
